It feels good to see UIT flourish as one of the best institutes of engineering
education both at national and international levels. Originally it was planned to
admit not more than 100 students but soon we had to expand our capacity and
now about 1300 students are studying various courses in the fields of microengineering
and computer sciences. We have also planned an extension of the
capacity of the institute, both in the number of subjects we offer and the physical
capacity to enable us to take more students.
Our faculty is devoted and our laboratories are up to the mark. As a whole we
offer every possibility for the students to learn their subject, not only the academics
of it but also the requirements of the growing market in Pakistan. If Pakistan has
to develop we need both intellectual and physical capacity to help it grow and
prosper.
I congratulate the teachers for being devoted and students for being disciplined
and attentive to their studies and I thank Allah Who has enabled us to develop
this institution as a highly rated engineering education institute of Pakistan.
