An MS program consists of 30 credit hours after 16 years of engineering/sciences
education. For the program, the students are required to complete a minimum of
6 courses of 18 credit hours (as major) specified for the desired area of specialization.
Remaining 4 courses of 12 credit hours can be undertaken from any area of specialization
(as minor) under any MS program including its own area of specialization in consultation
with the supervisor. A student may opt for a thesis of 6 credit hours in lieu
of 2 minor courses. Hence there are two options in all MS programs:

hours.
