Students already enrolled in any degree programme at UIT are required to
re-register at the beginning of each semester
and pay the fee.

Procedure for
Registration
|
|
|
|
The recommended
registration procedure is as follows:
- Fill the registration
form.
- Get it checked and
verified by the Academic Administration Department of UIT.
- Get the approval by
Director (Academic Administration).
- Get the payment
vouchers to deposit fees in the Bank. OR submit the Pay Order / Bank Draft in
the Finance Department of UIT. Payment of fee by cheque / cash is not
acceptable.
- Submit the office
copy of the bank receipt in Academic Administration Department.
- Payment of current
fees and clearance of all outstanding dues.

Fine |
|
|
|
Fine will be imposed for late payment of all fee dues:
1st Week - Rs. 250/-
2nd Week - Rs. 500/-
3rd Week - Rs. 750/-
4th Week - Rs. 1000/-
The following shall be eligible for registration:
(i) Candidates selected for admission by
the Admission Committee.
(ii) Students promoted to higher semester
with satisfactory academic performance.
(iii) Students who are allowed to repeat a
semester in which they had deficiencies.

Suspension of
Registration |
|
Registration of a
student will be suspended in any of the following situations:
- Failure to complete
registration formalities in time.
- Failure to apply for
deferment of registration.
- Any disciplinary
action.
- Unsettled matters
with the Institution.
- Special request for
suspension by the University.

Restoration of
Registration |
|
|
|
A student whose registration is suspended may request for restoration of
registration after removing the above
mentioned deficiencies.
|

|
|
Cancellation of
Registration |
|
|
The cancellation of
registration will result in termination of the student's studies at the
Institute. The registration thus terminated will not be restored except in case
(c) discussed below. The registration will cease in any of the following
situations:
a) Failure to restore suspended registration.
b) Failure to achieve required minimum standards of academic performance within
the stipulated period.
c) Disciplinary action or admission obtained on false documents.
d) Request for restoration/renewal of registration should be made within four
weeks.
Important Note
Registration/Admission of a student will be cancelled in case any educational
document is found fake or forged and
UIT/University reserves the right to take legal action.
