Student Welfare Fund
The UIT offers financial assistance to deserving students in the form of scholarships
and loans. The Student Welfare Fund Committee scrutinizes the applications
of students seeking financial aid and sanctions assistance for those who demonstrate
need. The Student Welfare Fund Committee is responsible for assisting students
who find themselves in financial difficulty.

Purpose and Need
This Fund is established for providing assistance to meritorious
and needy students.
- The representatives from the students are selected from
those who volunteer themselves for the cause.
- They are responsible for interaction between students,
teacher and the management of the institution.
- Managing committee will look into each case separately
and decide about the category from which the grant is to be given to the
student (qarz-e-hasanah or scholarship).
- The fund consists of donations, zakat, charities, interests
and such other sources that are allowed by the Managing Committee.

Zakat account be maintained separately in the conformity
with Shariah requirement.

As the committee ensured that UIT collects and gives
the amount according to the requirement of shariah so the committee offers
those who do not use the mark-up given by banks on their deposited amount
to please donate such amount in the account of UITSWF directly i.e. (1004-0081-038628-03-06)
so it could help the needy who is entitled for this and to whom such kind
of amount is permissible.

The committee separately maintain all accounts and generates
annual audit report of this fund.

Cash Inflow and outflow are properly managed in the
respective heads which are,
1. Donations
2. Zakat
3. Interest (Mark-up)
4. Others
Objectives of UITSWF
The Fund is used for:

Assistance in examination, admission and semester fees

Qarz-e-Hasna.
